Surprised in the best (or worst) way!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place is conveniently located just a short walk from the music venue we attended. Furthermore, the welcoming front desk staff made a great first impression. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with fresh fruits and eggs, bringing a nice touch to the stay.

We had an amazing time at the nearby amusement park Carowinds, perfect for our large family with 7 kids! The hotel offered plenty of space for all of us, making it convenient for our adventurous trip. The location was super handy for all our activities.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel staff could improve by offering more towels for families. We needed more than the two provided for our family of nine.

The room was surprisingly spacious, and I loved the comfortable beds. It was great to enjoy hot water for showers after a long day. The value for the price was decent, but the cleanliness could have been much better.

The location was great for exploring the area, especially Kings Mountain National Park! 🌟 However, the bathroom was really dirty, which was quite disappointing.

I had a fantastic experience staying here for a week in a cozy non-smoking double room. The outdoor swimming pool was a perfect spot to unwind, along with comfy sun loungers that made relaxation just that much better. The only minor issue was that the shower had low water pressure, but it didn’t spoil my stay at all! 😊

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

We enjoyed the spacious pool area during our family trip. Although our room was a bit musty and needed attention, the staff were accommodating when we requested extra towels. For future guests, ask for a room away from the elevators for a quieter experience.

The overall ambiance feels more like a run-down roadside dive than a hotel. The location is in a sketchy area, with a parking lot that’s too dark and unwelcoming, giving off a vibe that raises red flags. The room itself had a worn-out carpet and dark lighting that just made it feel grungy. I noticed parts of the walls were unpainted. it’s like they just decided to give up on aesthetics. The air conditioning could get annoying at night because it blew the curtains around like a leaves in the wind. Oh, and if you’re considering mosquito bites as a late-night snack, the bug issues from earlier reviews might be something to keep in mind.

I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with its great selection and felt very welcomed by the professional staff. The comfortable beds added to the excellent experience during my stay.

This place was a proper fit for a temporary stay in Kings Mountain with outstanding value. The flat-screen TV and coffee maker were nice touches that made the room feel more like home. Make sure to check the door. it doesn't close completely, which can let in cold air.
